If you're relatively new to my world (or new to hearing me talk about email), you might be wondering why you should listen to me.
I realize that last email may have felt a bit personal and could have even stung a bit if your welcome sequence is similar to the one I laid out in that email...
...and if it's performing well, you may be tempted to write me off completely. I made some pretty strong statements in it.
I get it. I've been in this world since 2011 full-time, and I'm super skeptical of anything even remotely hype-y or extremely polarized, because I've been burned so many times.
There's a lot of fake shit out there.
❌ I don't want to be sold to. ❌
Which means that I don't want someone to try and convince me that I should buy something I don't actually need or want.
And I know I'm not the only one.
For me, that means I'm not here to convince you that I'm right and you're wrong.
Instead, I'm trying to SHOW you how I think about email marketing and the principles I design by so that you can understand WHY I believe this is a better way to do email marketing.
And if you align with what I'm doing, I hope you'll join me in the Everselling Email System when you get your invitation.
But this isn't the only way. And the actual structure it takes may look different in the future if email reader behavior changes or if all sorts of people start doing this and it becomes a "norm".
It's about understanding the principles so you know HOW and WHEN to break the "rules".
It's about taking something and making it work even better.
This is simply how I am currently creating my own email marketing after having tried ALL SORTS of different automations, funnels, sequences, etc and have noticed what's really worked, what hasn't, and WHY things that used to work stop working.
And I get excited about having you join me in it because then I get to learn from you, too.
I'm a big believer that we truly are Brighter Together and have much to learn from each other.
